The theme we work under
The stroke call, the staging, the biopsy that is or is not worth doing all of it starts in a reading room. RSP 2026 is three days built around the people who make those pictures readable.

01The 2026 conference
For forty-two years the annual conference of the Radiological Society of Pakistan has been where the specialty meets itself and this year it comes to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the first time in a decade.
Radiology in Pakistan is not short of talent. It is short of forums where that talent is tested in public where a registrar from a district hospital can present an audit to a room of professors and be taken seriously, and where a technologist can spend a morning on a machine they have only read about.
RSP 2026 is built around that gap. Three days, three scientific tracks, twelve workshops and a faculty drawn from across Pakistan and abroad hosted at Rehman Medical Institute, one of the busiest imaging departments in the north-west.

02Why attend
This is a working conference. Every element of the programme was chosen because it changes something you do when you get back to your department.

03Scientific tracks
Abstracts are submitted into one of three tracks, with your subspecialty recorded separately so the committee can group sessions sensibly.
Original research across CT, MRI, ultrasound, radiography and nuclear medicine diagnostic accuracy, cohort studies, audits and case series.
Vascular and non-vascular intervention, oncologic ablation, embolisation, biopsy technique, drainage and image-guided procedural outcomes.
Artificial intelligence, radiomics, photon-counting CT, contrast media, dose optimisation, PACS/informatics and quality-and-safety work.
Up to three abstracts per author, blind peer-reviewed, and accepted work presented as an oral paper, a poster or an e-poster. The portal saves every step as you go you do not have to finish in one sitting.
